ZAM's Hope is a community resource center serving the underprivileged in the Devon area of Rogers Park. Zakat funding helps provide support for Elderly Citizens in need and Families experiencing Financial Emergencies.

CMecca Weekend Islamic School

CMecca Weekend Islamic School offers a weekend educational program for underprivileged minority youth. This area serves residents of the South Side of Chicago.

IMAN Food Pantry

Innercity Muslim Action Network in Chicago hosts a food pantry to provide food and basic household supplies to the underprivileged in the surrounding area.

Project Restore: Half-way House for Prisoners

In partnership with IMAN, we are supporting a half-way house for release prisoners to help support them as they try to regain their footing in their communities. This project provides housing, job training, and support for ex-convicts.

South Side Summer Camp

Coordinated between CIOGC and south side organizations, youth and family summer camps are supported through Zakat funding to provide important religious educational opportunities and retreats for underprivileged youth.

Radio Islam: AM 1480

Radio Islam is the only daily talkshow produced by Muslims for Muslims and non-Muslims alike. They provide accurate information in dispelling common stereotypes, insightful political rhetoric, and opportunities for dawah.

Grow Your Own Scholars Program

In partnership with IMAN, we are able to put a capital investment into supporting the Islamic studies of a community leader. Currently enrolled as a student at Al-Azhar University in Egypt, this young leader will return and serve his community as an Islamic scholar.
